Dried and Clumpy Saga continues....It hurts me to rate my all-time favorite eyeliner so low, but the quality is not what it used to be. This was my go-to eyeliner for years, and I was really upset when NYX discontinued it for a brief time. I even commented in the reviews to bring it back. When they brought the NYX Vivid Matte back, it was great. But as recently as October of 2024, I started noticing that the liquid was clumpy and unusable. I had bought 3 new eyeliners and they were all dried out. I went to another store and bought 3 more and it was the same issue. I gave up and started using a different eyeliner from a different brand, but I still missed the formula and brush tip from NYX, so I bought it this week thinking that the issue had been corrected but to my surprise, the eyeliner was completely dried out. The higher ups in this brand need to take a look at the production of the Vivid Matte eyeliner because its obvious that this is a huge issue. I love NYX for the high quality of their products, but this is a BIG problem you can't ignore. Please do something to resolve this issue with the crowd favorite, Vivid Matte Eyeliner! :-(

AbysmalI used this eyeliner for 10 years. For the past few months, every. single. bottle. I’ve purchased has been COMPLETELY dried out. I’ve bought probably 10-15 bottles from four different states and all have had this problem. It’s completely unusable and many other people are having the same issue. This used to be my holy grail eyeliner and I’m so sad that the quality has taken such a nosedive.

Disappointing won't buy againI had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately it is very dry, even the day I opened it I thought that there was no product inside because it was so hard to drawer a line with the liquid. Such a shame, there are much better products about than this.

Always dried outBrand new bottle completely dried out. This keeps happening and no amount of shaking is going to re-liquify and un clump the dried bits. I shouldn’t have to add water in a brand new bottle to “revive” it.

DRY EYELINERThis eyeliner was dry. Wasn’t able to apply is smoothly. I even added a few drops of Inglot Duraline and it didn’t help.
