It’s pigmented enough that you need to be careful with placement if not you run the chance of looking like a clown. The formula is super soft and cushiony however you don’t have the comfort of spreading it on thick. Would definitely try this in clear or a lighter color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super smooth tinted balm. I usually don't pick favorites, but I tried Smudge Fudge on a whim and liked it so much that I grabbed a second tube and several other colors. The texture feels so nice on my lips - very lightweight with no stickiness, and so very soft. Nice buildable color that doesn't overwhelm. The only bummer is that the staying power is pretty limited -- usually need to re-up before noon if not earlier, but it's a balm not a lipstick so I'm not too disappointed. Wish it wasn't an online-only exclusive!
